This was my first experience using a Dr. Brandt product. To learn more about the Dr. Brandt brand look here. Most recently I have used a similar Exuviance (Neostrata) product and have been happy with the results. However, part of my first #FabFitFun subscription box included a full size (2 oz) Dr. Brandt squeezable tube.
Here is the #FunFabFit summary of the product:
Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Age Defying Exfoliator

Here are my two cents:
The product has a light and refreshing citrus scent (not overwhelming at all). It has a gentle grittiness to it. There weren’t any instructions on the amount of product to use, so I went with a slightly larger than pea size portion (as this is how much most other products recommend).
Application was simple. It didn’t feel harsh on my skin nor did it irritate or sting my skin. I rinsed it off after about 2 minutes with a warm washcloth. My skin did feel refreshed for sure. I followed up with moisturizer and my regular make-up routine (with the addition of REALHER Lip Kit in Deep Red which was also included in the Spring ’17 #FabFitFun box). Click here to see a picture.
I did like the results from the first application of Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion age defying exfoliator. Using it only 3 times per week (per the directions) would make it last a good 3-4 months. I’m not sure that I’d be willing to drop $79 on this. Though, regular microdermabrasion use does reveal results especially for those of us seeking anti-aging assistance…so, maybe 😉
Dr. Brandt does offer another microdermabrasion product that retails for $58! After a review of the ingredients in both products I can tell you that this second option has more ingredients included. After doing a bit of research via www.ewg.org (a cosmetics database) I found the following information on the ingredients that are specific to the Anti-Aging product that I received.
